Recently WhisperPower has upgraded an existing text trolley for Krans, situated in Assen, The Netherlands, and provided it with new products to considerably increase the autonomy of the text trolley and greatly reduce the running time of the 1 cylinder diesel generator.
Naturally, there are far fewer emissions due to this upgrade and the 1 cylinder diesel generator will start up far less.
The upgrade
By installing 4 solar panels, the batteries in the text trolley are optimally charged by the sun.
By also installing the Supreme Pro professional battery charger 24V-100A, the AGM batteries are quickly recharged from the grid when the text trolley is on-site in Assen, The Netherlands.
The following products have been installed:
- 4 185Wp solar panels
- 2 Suntrack DUO booster charge regulators 24V-30A
- 1 Supreme Pro professional battery charger 24V-100A
- 4 AGM batteries 12V-260Ah for a total battery bank of 24V-520Ah
