WhisperPower Responds to Covid-19 Restrictions by Launching its Professional Online Training Programme

OctoPower 14 All In One

Off-grid and mobile power products manufacturer, WhisperPower, is rolling out an online training programme to assist existing and potential customers to gain useful product knowledge. This is to replace the popular ‘Learning Days’ programme where dealers would previously have attended regional venues to get hands-on with the products and talk directly with the engineers. Initiatives like this have since had to be put on hold due to COVID-19.

The Netherlands-based company has seen a big increase to its geographical spread, recently opening new offices in Germany, Spain and the UK. WhisperPower has also been penetrating the North American market whilst simultaneously launching a series of brand-new products – 15 in 2020 alone. Sales figures have been strong as more people realise their holidays are likely to be off-grid staycations this year.

To ensure that locked-down audiences can fully appreciate the benefits of the power products range, as well as how to conduct a perfect installation, the expertise is now online.

The Whisper Online Learning Project (W.O.L) was announced at a well-attended webinar last year.  The presentations are held using Microsoft Teams software and the training sessions usually last for two hours, and are timed that both European, American and as many other countries may join at a mutually-convenient time, usually with about 80-100 participants each time.  Experts in each field use stripped-down equipment as teaching aids, with the chance for delegates to ask questions at the end of each session. There is no charge, just an on-line registration form to complete, and the training is open to anyone who is working professionally with WhisperPower products.

"We used to have hands-on training days at our Drachten plant, and also at our regional offices, but COVID has since made that impossible"
