Modular Battery Protect Relay 12 V / 500 A

The DC Modular Battery Protect Relay has the same capabilities as the Remote Battery Switch. It is a smart high current magnetic latching contactor, that can handle continuous DC currents of up to 500 Amps.

Whereas the Remote Battery Switch is mainly used as a locally or externally controlled battery load switch, the Modular Battery Protect Relay has a number of additional features. Most importantly, it can protect your battery without the need for an external measurement and control device.

  • Smart high current magnetic latching relay, draws virtually no current in On (Close) or Off (Open) state.
  • Silver alloy contacts and silver plated copper busbars, for maximum conductivity and high reliability when switching live loads
  • Local Open and Close buttons on top, to manually override the switch state
  • Automatic load disconnection (10 programmable disconnect- and reconnect volt- age levels)
  • Override mode allows temporary battery connection during under voltage condi- tions, in case of emergency or to facilitate the battery charging process
