Review of METSTRADE 2024 and Learning Days
METSTRADE is the largest annual international B2B trade show for the leisure marine industry, which took place again last November. This year, we made a strong impression with our booth and demo bus showcasing our power systems. Given the importance of the show, our distributors and dealers were actively present, either as visitors or exhibitors. It has also become a tradition that the week preceding METSTRADE is dedicated to the “Learning Days.” During these days, the focus was on product training and the latest technological developments. This article provides an impression of both events.
Learning Days: Varied Workshops
The Learning Days brought our distribution partners from 20 different countries together for a varied training program. Extensive sessions covered topics such as generator configuration, battery innovations and how to integrate them into a single homogeneous energy system. The program combined technical sales training with practical workshops and offered plenty of opportunities for sharing knowledge and experiences. A key theme this year was the rapid progress of WhisperCare, our solution for cloud-based management and monitoring, which takes efficiency and ease of use to the next level.
METSTRADE 2024: Focus on Sustainability and Efficiency
The METSTRADE 2024 trade show in RAI Amsterdam provided a platform for the most innovative developments in the leisure marine industry. Visitors discovered at our booth in Hall 1 and the outdoor demonstrations how hybrid systems contribute to improved fuel efficiency, reduced emissions and lower noise levels. Electrification of vessels remains a clear trend in the sector, with the growing number of shore power facilities as a significant indicator. A combination of various energy technologies is essential to meet the energy needs for both propulsion and onboard comfort. Innovations such as smart energy systems and advanced monitoring reinforce the transition to a greener and more sustainable future for the maritime industry.
