Response to COVID-19 Restrictions with Launch of Online Training Program
Off-grid and mobile power product manufacturer WhisperPower is rolling out an online training program to help existing and potential customers acquire valuable product knowledge. This is replacing the popular Learning Days program, where dealers previously visited regional locations for hands-on product experience and direct discussions with engineers. Such initiatives have since been suspended due to COVID-19.
Geographic Expansion
The Netherlands-based company has seen its geographic expansion increase significantly, with new offices recently opened in Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom. WhisperPower is also penetrating the North American market while simultaneously launching a series of brand-new products. Sales figures are strong as more people realize their vacations this year are likely to be off-grid retreats. To ensure that the homebound public fully appreciates the benefits of the range of power products, as well as how to execute a perfect installation, the expertise is now available online.
Sessions Available to Everyone
The Whisper Online Learning Project (WOL) was announced last year during a well-attended webinar. The presentations are held using Microsoft Teams software, and the training sessions typically last two hours, timed so that both European and American participants, as well as those from other countries, can join at a convenient time for all parties. Each session includes approximately 80-100 participants. Experts in each field use stripped-down equipment as learning tools, with an opportunity for participants to ask questions at the end of each session. There is no charge, and the training is open to anyone who works professionally with WhisperPower products.
“Previously, we held practical days at our factory in Drachten as well as at our regional offices, but COVID has since made that impossible.”
